PIGTAILED BALLPLAYER...

I love the fact that Riley will play baseball with the boys but still wants pigtails with rubber bands that match her team colors. Love it!

A SMALL TOWN SOUTHERN MAN...

This is one of Tyler's favorite songs right now so this ones for him. I love that he thinks of himself as a small town southern man just because he married a small town southern girl. I love the line that says "his greatest contribution is the ones you leave behind"...so true. Play well this week babe... the kids and I will be rooting for one good looking blue eyed man who is always dressed to perfection, always in a visor, and who always tries on every shot.

SAY HELLO TO OUR LITTLE FRIEND...

Say hello to Mr. Wrinkles. This morning as I was going over to my friends house to run I found him in the middle of the road. I almost hit him not realizing what it was. Me being the bleeding heart that I am couldn't just let him take his chances and get hit. So I pulled my car over and rescued him. I was just going to take him to safety but I thought the kids would love to have him around for a day....and they did. The bottom picture is of Tyler playing ball in the front yard. Fun day indeed.

THE ONLY WAY I MAKE IT IN THE PHOTOS...

I have finally found a way to make it in the photos I take. I find a mirror and take the reflection. This works out pretty well for the most part. Just a little blurry.(I guess I can live with that!) I took the top while on a field trip with Easton to the zoo and the second with Riley at the Nashville children's science museum. The bottom two are little JoJo so sad because he is being left out of playing catch with Easton and I...but finally a smile.

A HAPPY-SAD BIRTHDAY...

Sunday was Josey third birthday. Tyler was out of town so I decided not to take on a birthday party all by myself. On Sunday I did his yearly photo shoot and let him open a few packages sent to him in the mail from out of town family. We had cake and his all time favorite watermelon and didn't make too big of a deal out of it since we are going to have a party for him when Tyler gets home. Sunday night we were getting ready for bed and he said "my birthday gone, gone." Poor guy he thinks that was it. He is finally at the age that he understands your birthday only comes around once in a while.

LOTS OF PICTURES...

Last week I had a few things to do in Chicago. Tyler and I were going to go by ourselves(WOW! We haven't been anywhere by ourselves since Riley was one!)and leave the kids with my brother but unfortunately my sister in laws grandfather died so we decided to take the kids with us. It was a whirlwind of a trip but fun none the less. We stopped in at shed aquarium in Chicago and on the way home stopped at the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln. On Saturday I ran in a 10K with my friend Stacy in honor of her 41st birthday. It was my first 10K and I am very proud to say I DID IT! I actually ran the entire way without stopping. It was a great feeling of accomplishment!

I WISH YOU ENOUGH...

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

I WISH YOU ENOUGH........
