THESE THREE FACES...

These three faces that greet me each morning are all the reason I need to be the best me I can be...it is up to me to set the example...to show them that even thought life is full of potholes, it doesn't mean we have to fall into them and stay there. Sometimes I just need a reminder...let these three faces be it.

GET READY, GET SET, DON'T GO...

I took Riley and her best friend Olivia to see the Hannah Montana concert. The photos just reminded me more and more about how much she is growing up. This was one of the songs at the concert...very fitting of my feelings right now.

TEACHING GRETZKY SOME TRICKS...

"Shit Redsky ,shit, I said shit(sit)...Lay dum(lay down)...Wat me(watch me)...shak ham(shake hands)"...all direct quotes from Josey as he tries to get Gretzky to do his tricks. Poor little Gretzky he just finally starts going thru the his entire bag of tricks hoping to hit the right one in order to get his favorite treats.

SIZING UP MY COMPETITION...

Well here she is...my competition. This is Joy. I felt like the stalkarazi taking these pictures...but I just had to capture this innocent valentine exchange between Easton and his first love. I asked him what she said to him when he gave her his valentine and he told me she said thankyou and then hit him in the head with her lunchbox.(bwaaaahaaahaaaa!)

I JUST LOVE YOU....

To my sweet hubby...a half a world away. I miss you and I love you...can't seem to get you off my mind today. I miss all the little things you do....I miss you covering up the clock for me every night so I can sleep in total darkness. I miss your cooking and you cleaning up the kitchen for me so I don't have to miss "my shows". I miss you taking the kids to school every morning so I don't have to get out. It's not the big things but the little day to day things I miss. Thankyou for loving me unconditionally.

A WILD AND CRAZY DAY...

Today was totally hectic. Lots and lots of running around with and for the kids. Lots of parties to attend. Just wanted to share these pictures and wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day!!! I will post more tommorrow on our very eventful day...

IT'S OFFICIAL...I'M HEARTBROKEN...

I'm heartbroken...Easton is in love with someone other than me. The other day I asked him if he wanted to get a special valentine for any special little girl. He said he would like to get one for a little girl named Joy whom he has had a crush on since pre-school. So off we went to to the store. His hand was tightly clinched to all the money he had to his name. He patiently walked up and down the isle looking for that special something. He tried to all the musical gorillas and dancing frogs. Nothing seemed right. So Riley and I started giving him our opinion on what all girls would want...somethin soft and cuddley and definitely something chocolate) So he decided on a very cute little stuffed puppy and a big chocolate kiss...the biggest they make. As he was paying for his special valentines with a big grin on his face I told him Joy was going to be one proud women when she gets his valentine. As we were walking to the car I asked him(just to make sure) who he loved more me or Joy. In his very Forrest Gump like accent he replied "Mom...she's going to be my wife." It's official...I am heartbroken. But I have a feeling my broken heart will not be his last.

VALENTINES PICTURES...

Every year for Valentines Day I try to do cute little pictures of the kids...Riley drew this heart on the driveway in sidewalk chalk.(I did the be mine in photoshop) I thought they turned out pretty cute. Easton wasn't into the heart thing so I just snapped a few of him.

So thankful to look back there everyday and see this...to know he's back there...behind me...sleeping peacefully...so thankful for him.
