AN OLD MAN IN A LITTLE BODY...

Check out that outfit. Isn't that what old men do...the socks with the flip flop thing. Give him all the credit for that outfit.

NUMBER 99 PLAYING CATCHER...

In our last game Easton got a chance to play catcher. He has played second base the entire year. We were getting beat soooo bad the coach decided to move a few players around. Needless to say Easton loved it. Well... I think he loved the equipment just as much as getting to play catcher. I wonder how it feels to have your name stamped all over your knees...

SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER!

The school year is over and I have them all to myself once again. It was a great year with many memories made. I feel very fortunate that the kids had two of the most fantastic teachers.
1. Love this family shot of us.
2. Me with the kids on the last day of school.
3. Riley with one of the best teachers in the whole wide world.
4. Riley with another one of her favorite teachers.
5. Easton with his so long sundae on the last day of 1st grade.(sniffle)
6. Easton proud to have signed the genius jeans for having 25 AR points.
7. Easton with the other best teacher in the whole wide world.
8. Easton with his principle who high fives him every time he sees him in the hallway.
9. This is my brother with Josey. I think they look so much alike right down to their same lazy eye.

MY LITTLE GRANDMOTHER'S BIRTHDAY...

My little Grandmother turned 87 on Sunday. Tyler, the kids, and I took her some of her favorite sugar free treats since she is diabetic. Within five minutes she told us the same thing at least four times. I am afraid she is showing early symptoms of alzheimers...so sad. Sad as it may be, a very important lesson to be learned. Document things you want to remember or better yet, things you want others to remember. I have very fond memories of this little lady when I was a child. My brother and I would spend the night with her every Friday night and she would let us eat anything we wanted...and she always told the greatest stories from her life. I would sit and listen to her for hours. She has not always had an easy life...you can probably tell just by looking at her little wrinkled face.

A BIG, BIG, PARTY...

Easton and his best little buddy Bryce decided to have their party together this year. Their birthdays are 3 days apart in the summer. Since summer birthday are somewhat tough to plan because everyone is traveling(especially us) we decided to do it in May before school gets out. The party was a blast and the boys both said it was the best birthday party ever!

RILEY WENT TO HAWAII AND MADE IT BACK IN TIME FOR HER BASEBALL GAME...

Riley's school takes an imaginary trip to a different place every year. This years location was Hawaii. Riley really looks forward to this every year. They boarded a plane, watched a movie, had their passports stamped...the works. They were served different foods from Hawaii including dried Mango's.(think orange fruit roll up)Highly recomended. The first picture is the one I took of Riley and her friend Olivia just after their Hawaii trip. I love the Hawaiian flowers in their hair. The rest of the pictures were taken at Riley and Easton's ballgame...sweet little Riley and number 99. Do I have to tell you how he chose his number?

MY SANITY CAME AND WENT...

Tyler came back home Friday night.(my sanity returned) He left Sunday night.(my sanity left with him) He has been gone 7 out of 8 weeks. I am tired. I am sooooooo tired. I overheard a lady at the ball fields the other night saying her husband had been out of town for two days and she couldn't take it anymore. I had to giggle. But right now I am smiling because I am looking at my new zoom lens. It makes me sooooo happy. Tired but happy.

THIS MAKES MY DAY...

After a very busy day of shuffling and running and stretching myself thin to make all of their performances, evaluations, and field days this picture makes it all worthwhile. And tomorrow I am running in a race...my sanity will return, I just know it.
